The setting sun road low on the horizon casting an eerie red haze to fall over the forest. The dense fog that had settled among the trees now looked like a bloody frost. Shade's ebony orbs flashed menacingly as a deadly thirst clenched her throat at the tempting reminder of blood. She swiped her lengthy tounge around her maw and permitted her deep oculars to rake the surroundings in an attempt to find a solution to her unquenchable thirst. Finally her penetrating gaze rested on a young stag grazing on the sparce grass that dotted the floor of the woods. She lowered her tense frame carefully lending all her weight to her haunches making ready to launch herself at the fleat creature when a strange noise sounded from behind her making the lith deer flea. Shade emited a cross between a hiss and a growl in anger and whirled on the sound only to face a tiny wolven pup of odd coloration. "What am I supposed to do?" She questioned herself harshly. Her unfathomable orbs softened noticably before speaking gently "who are you? Where is your mother?" The small scrap did not speak it mearly gazed up at her with watery grey oculars. "we need to be you back to the alpha" she decided hastily.

As the cool shades of read and orange started to cast a dim glow pon the forest Rose lifted her head and watched the shadows begin to form. She slowly stood and shook out her few stretching her sore muscles before she jumped off the top of the den and landed silently in front before padding towards the river. She slowly bent her maw towards the water and alloud her tounge to lap up a drink making sure her ears where pivoted back so she could hear if someone approached her. Her blue orbs seemed busy scanning the area for any signs of food or danger as her tassle swayed just slightly. She soon rose her maw from the water and stayed glued to the spot her attention something in the shadows of the trees. She watched the shadows momentarily before finally walking back to the dens her mind now full of thoughts.

Emily grew older, with more wisdom and experiance in the past few years. Gaining her respective rank as Beta, she cared for the other members with her life. Fighting to the death if she must. Sapphire orbs became lighter, almost reaching a sky blue tone. Mitts padded silently as she was careful to not break a twig. Wandering around in the forest is what she loved, and therefore she was to do it like she was now. Emotionless kept on her features the past few days, confusion striking the pack's faces. What was on her mind? You would wonder. If anything was on her mind at all. She normally was lost in her nonexistant gaze, as if nothing had mattered to her anymore. Seeking what lies beyond the pack boarders, she knew she mustn't go. Not yet anyways. Slender fae, that of a pedigree Siberian Husky she was, would make her way through the dense, dark forest. Shining pelt would dimminish as the light faded. It would soon be dark. Continuing her search through the forest, she kept her auds alert as she listened to all surroundings, to be alarmed if she were to be followed. Nostrils twitched as they took in no new sent. She knew this forest like the back of her paw, and would always keep it that way. Grown with her wisdom, she had found new hideouts if they were needed, the shortcuts for quickest getaways as well. Black claws deepened into the earth with every silent step she took, great force upon this masculine beauty. Godess of wonderous mysterious still lurk beneath her shadows. Caudle held high in a dominate stance. She would never surrender nor show submission. Her heart lay with her pack, her loyalty to her alphess. Caring for her friends and family, her duty came second, and it always will be.

Rose gently padded away from the dens knowing that her pack members where probably out doing a round of scanning the area for any mischief. Her grey audits swerved to the many sound of the morning before she finally decided to sedate her hunger and go hunting for her two loyal members as well as herself. As she silently padded through the forest her muscles seemed to already tense in anticipation of the hunt. Alphess or not she made it her business to help her pack by doing their jobs with them and always making sure her pack was safe. As she went deeper into the forest she crouched down into the shadows and let her orbs scann the area and there she saw a small herd of deer. Tounge left her maw to lick her canines already savoring the taste of the flesh her mind already picking the strong from the weak deciding to go with on that seemed enough to feed the small amount of people she protected she waited as she crouched down her muscled bunching up for the spring. Her orbs watched the young buck quietly before she darted out into the open area the deer look up in alarm before finaly running. The chase was on.

Emily froze in position, auds catching the sound of the hunt. Who was doing the hunting? She though. Nostrils twitched as she picked up the alphess's scent. She was hunting alone! How foolish. Emily darted in that direction, looking forward to helping in the hunt. Out from the bushes she came, the buck heading in her direction. Maw parted as ivories revealed themselves, scaring the buck as he slid, attempting to dart in another direction. Emily sprang up from her spot, snapping at his neck. Fangs pierced into his neck easily as blood spurted out, staining her pelt. Buck kicked out with his front legs, his knees jabbing Emily in her side. Wincing in pain, she surpressed it and continued to help in the hunt. Flying up from the side, she landed perfectly on his back, black claws digging into his sides. Bruise slowly revealed itself from her side from here she was hit, yet she ignored it. No bones had been broken so she was perfectly fine. Fangs held their grip as she waited for the alphess to make her move.

Rose soon slid beneath the buck digging her fangs into its neck she threw her weight to the side her eyes glowing with bloodlust. The buck staged and fell to the ground throwing Rose slightly off balance but she made sure she kept hold knowing emily would too. She bit down hard the buck flailing and trying to stand again but before long the bucks movement would lessing and its breathing would labor more. Rose let go and glanced at emily bowing her head. "Your catch your kill." She smiled warmly at Her and back away waiting for Emily's kill before the stag regained its breath t fight.

Emily held on as predicted, sinking her fangs in deeper with every second. As her alphess spoke, she did as told and finished off the kill. Lapping up a bit of his blood, she took a step back to allow her alphess to take the first bite. Standing tall and proud, skyblue orbs would gaze, watching her alphess. After she had taken her bite, Emily would begin eating as well. Pelt rippled in the gentle breeze, the light dimming, her fur not as shiny. Teeth would glisten as blush tongue would lick the blood off her chops.

Ebony mitts pound against the ground, setting small animals out of the way in fright. Slender fulcrums set at a steady pace, though a blur to most looking at the figure. The figure of the creature was thin but seemed perfect at the same time. Caudel was held high, a hard task to keep it up at the speed the figure was going. The on coming night was welcomed and soon the figure would make a move. Stopping, the figure's audits perk as it gazes down at the wolves eating and sitting together, not alot the figure noted where they each sat and took a guess at their power. The figure sat down and awaiting darkness and for the wolves to fall into sleep. As she waited, Kitty emerged from the shadows. A playful smirk on her jowls as she charged down and tackled the sleeping figures, emitting a hunting howl to make them think they were under attack. Caudel wagged happily as she nuzzled each one.

Shade nipped gently at the small pup's nap before parting her maw slightly and gripping onto the loose pelt on the back of its neck. She lifted the small scrap lightly into the air, the red sunset glow nearing the deep twilight maroon, creating dark shifting shadows around the two wolvens. Shade hunched her slender shoulders and growled through a mouthful of fur as her sleek molted pelt was drug against its natural direction as a gusting wind rose in a threatening manner. A tree behind her groaned angrily, swaying side to side before a second gust came and tore the tree directly from the ground creating a terrible crackling sound. Shade stared horrified at the falling giant that was coming right at her before the small creature in her jaws squirmed attempting to flea shaking her back to the situation at hand. She quickly tightened her hold on the pup and bolted forward the pads leaving nothing but clouds of dust behind her. The tree hit with a resounding crash that could be heard all the way back at the den. Shade lifted her skull and looked to the sky fearing what she would see, she was a far way from home and had no way to alert her pack before the storm hit. She couldn’t outrun it, but she was still a bit ahead of it and could keep pace with it if she tried. Shade knew a pup this young could not survive long in such weather without shelter. She narrowed her deep orbs in frustration and pressed her blood auds against her dome before shooting off without another thought on the matter off towards the direction of the den. She cursed herself silently knowing she could not emit a warning howl to her family letting them know of her arrival. Lightning flashed violently not far behind her clogging her sense of smell momentarily, when it returned the strong scent of Rose wafted up to her along with Kitty's and Emily's familiar smells. When she reached them she dropped the pup a bit harder than she had intended but was less worried about the pup than she was her pack. "Storm... coming... fast... run to cover... NOW!" she gasped hastily, her vocals edged with something like a cross between desperation and anger.

Emily thought for a moment before the rest were to run back to the den. She then spoke, "We don't know how long this storm will last. Bring this buck back to the den, I'll see if I can find anything else. We must hurry." And off she ran, deeper into the forest. Due to her wisdom and knowledge of this territory, she had found a rabbit hole. Therefore, she went to the rabbit hole and started digging, getting many rabbits pierced in the neck. Afterwards, she would do a trick she learned and hold all six corpses by the ears and carry them back to the den. Once in the den, she placed the corpses in the food pile and exitted, making sure everyone was inside or heading towards the den.
